The Educator
Robert is an internationally recognized teacher in theater arts having led workshops in UK, Canada, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, and across the United States. A sought after guest instructor at theaters and universities, Robert has developed workshops for arts students and performance professionals based on his 15 years of experience teaching at notable undergraduate and graduate actor training programs associated with world-class universities such as Boston University, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, Harvard University, University of California - Irvine, and University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Robert was educated at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME where he double majored in Literature and Pre-Med with a Philosophy minor. He was also awarded the Alice Merrill Mitchell Prize in Acting. His rigor towards academics and passion for performance led him to purse an MFA with the Shakespeare Theater Company in Washington, DC through the Academy of Classical Acting. He has also trained with Anne Bogart's SITI Company in Saratoga, NY as well as the Upright Citizen's Brigade in Los Angeles.
