Robert is stage and screen actor who has worked across theatrical and screen mediums over a multi-decade career. His versatility as a classical, dramatic, comedic, and movement performer has led him to roles that have spanned theatre, film, opera, and dance for productions across the United States including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, and Boston. 

 

Some of his most notable theatrical credits include Punchdrunk's critically-acclaimed "Sleep No More" of which he was an original US cast member in both Boston at the American Repertory Theater, and the New York production with Emersive, "Talley's Folly" with Jeff Daniel's Purple Rose Theater Company, the New England premiers of both "The Kite Runner" with New Repertory Theater and "Take Me Out" with Speakeasy Stage, a young Einstein in the adaptation of Alan Lightman's "Einstein's Dreams" in collaboration with Central Square Theater and MIT, "Don Giovanni" with the Washington National Opera as the principal superfighter, and the longest running comedy whodunnit "Shear Madness" at the Charles Street Playhouse in Boston's Theater District. 

 

On screen, Robert has worked in commercial, television, and film in projects for Visa, Bruins Hockey, the AMC series "Kevin Can F***k Himself", and the holiday film "Godmothered" on Disney+.

 

Robert has extensive training in classical performance having graduated from The Shakespeare Theater Company's Academy of Classical Acting at Geroge Washington University under the instruction and direction of Michael Kahn. His additional interests in the movement arts and improvisation led him to train with Anne Bogart and the SITI Company at their International Workshop in Saratoga, NY and with Upright Citizen's Brigade in Los Angeles. When he's not collaborating on work projects, Robert continues to train whenever and wherever he can.

 

Robert is a member of Actor's Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, and SDC.

Stunts & Stage Combat

A lifelong practioner of various movement disciplines, Robert has specialized, trained, and performed both Eastern and Western martial arts throughout his professional career. He has been fortunate to have studied with such reputable teachers as Jason DeLucia in Aikido and MMA, Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming in Long Fist / White Crane Gongfu and Taijiquan, and at the Jae H. Kim Taekwondo Institute world headquarters where he holds a 2nd  Dan Black Belt under the direct instruction of Mr. Kim. 

 

His interest in performing classical Western Theatre, particularly Shakespeare, led him to deeply study European weapon systems. His training led him around the world to study or perform in the UK, Australia, Italy, the United States, and Canada. He is highly proficient in all types of Western weapon systems including German Longsword, French Smallsword, Tactical Knife, Italian Rapier, and both practical and theatrical firearms.
